We also use the demographic information you submit to interpret the results of our research. (For example, if we did a survey on lipsticks, we might report that 70% of women agree that the lipstick they tested was long lasting.) Hearst Panel uses your contact information (such as name, email address, and postal address) to invite you to participate in Hearst Panel sessions. Hearst Panel will not disclose your identity or any of your personally identifiable information without your authorization.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information. Hearst Panel serves session cookies only. Once the user closes his or her browser, the session is ended and the cookie simply terminates.
